Rexall + Indigenous Brands
March was the official launch of Mother Earth Essentials in select Rexall stores and we love what this means for our community. Rexall partnered with 3 woman-owned Indigenous small businesses (Mother Earth Essentials, Lofttan, and Lodge Soy Candles). They approached us 6 months ago and it has been a long journey bringing everything together, from selecting products to feature in the stores, to preparing how they would be presented in person.
It was thrilling to see it come to life and the excitement continues as we see our community out there shopping at a big store like Rexall and finding products from Indigenous small businesses.
"This opportunity is Reconciliation in action. When you lift up female-led, Indigenous brands, you lift the entire Indigenous community." —Lofttan
"This wonderful partnership & unprecedented pilot program to support & promote Indigenous, women-owned businesses & brands is what the Indigenous community & this country needs." —Lodge Soy Candles
"As a descendent of a residential school survivor, I am appreciative that Rexall is honouring the Truth & Reconciliation Commission of Canada's Calls to Action. kinanâskomitin (thank you, I am grateful to you)." —Mother Earth Essentials
We're so thankful to see the support that came after the launch and continues to come as we see shoppers discovering our brand and others across Canada. We can't wait for our next big project and to see where the rest of this year takes us.
