What is your return policy?
We have a “Satisfaction Guarantee” – if you are not happy with your product for any reason, we will happily issue a replacement or refund within 30 days of purchase. Please note that for exchanges or refunds, the customer is responsible for return shipping.
If there is a problem with your item, please send photos of the problem to email@example.com and we will replace or refund your order at our discretion.
Do your products expire?
Hand & Body Lotions: Unopened products stored in a cool area out of sunlight will last up to 1 year.
Peppermint Sage line: The Peppermint Sage Line will last up to 3 years.
Handmade Soaps: Our handmade soaps do not expire, however if left unused for long periods of time they can shrink and harden from moisture loss.
Aromatherapy Sprays: Do not expire
Candles: Do not expire. Burn time 18+ hours
Essential Oils: Do not expire
Are your products suitable for all types of skin?
Yes, but we do recommend testing on a small area if you have sensitive skin. Our four body lotions benefit most skin types but especially dry, mature and sensitive skin.
Are your products hypoallergenic?
All of our products are made with natural ingredients, so they should not cause an allergic reaction, however everyone is different. If you are unsure we recommend testing the product on a small area of your skin before using it in other areas. Always consult with your doctor if you are unsure if a product is right for you.
How do I know if I am allergic to your products?
If you experience rash, redness or discomfort after doing a test on a small area, please discontinue use and consult with your physician.
Can I use your products if I’m pregnant or nursing? Can I use any of the products for my baby or young child?
Please always check with your physician before using essential oils on young children or babies, or while pregnant or nursing.
Can your products be used to treat my medical condition?

No. Mother Earth Essentials started as a family business so all of the products are family tested.

Our products are ethically sourced. We do not have “fair trade” certification.

No use of any animal based ingredients.
What does “Natural” mean?
Completely devoid of synthetic, artificial or chemical substances.
What is “Organic” and are your products organic?
Organic refers to the way the agricultural products are grown and processed; organic plants are produced using environmentally and animal friendly farming methods. Our products are not certified organic, however our products are made with natural ingredients from sustainable sources.
Are your products alcohol free?

Yes, we do use some preservatives in some of our products to increase the shelf life.
Where do you get your oils?
All over the world, it depends on where the oils are available. We use reliable and sustainable sources.
What does “Nature Identical Oil” mean?
A nature identical essential oil is a blend of essential oil and various extracted aromatic compounds. These ingredients are natural but they’re not in their natural state. It’s comparable to getting your nutritional needs met through supplements rather than food.
